  • What are the KCWE Leadership Awards and how do I nominate someone for one?

    Our annual Leadership Awards nominate recognize outstanding leadership in Kansas when it comes to education.

    Does someone you know demonstrate exceptional student engagement, excelling as a new faculty, or have they made advancements in technical education within Kansas or beyond? If they have contributed to education, but are not a technical school/college faculty or staff member – they can still be nominated. You can nominate them in one of five areas on our Awards nomination form. Please consider nominating a deserving colleague for an award!

  • What events are you still having despite the pandemic?

    We are still holding some Workshops in socially distanced training rooms and will closely monitor safety protocol before announcing whether Workshops will be in-person or virtual. KCWE has postponed our Conference until January 2021.

  • Do I have to be a Career and Technical Education faculty member to attend a Workshop?

    No, anyone teaching college courses including General Education are welcome to attend. Check out our upcoming Workshops and how to get signed up!

  • How much does it cost to attend a Workshop?

    Our Workshops are $75 for KCWE members and $100 for non-members. Sign up for one today to enhance your technical education career!

  • What does KCWE do?

    We provide Kansas educators and 2-year technical college faculty with as many resources as possible via events, educational development information, and leadership opportunities.
